...,staat New York
We are thrilled to announce that we will open ...,staat New York in 2010!
We already have two people, now working in our team here, who wanna make it there... Viv, who has been with us for almost two years and Ned, a born New Yorker who has been working at Nike EMEA for the last couple of years. The coming months he will be at ...,staat to get to know us, our clients and our coffee even better.
And at the end of January, we'll together leave for NY to get things rolling. As soon as we know more, you know more! So, it's up to us... New York!
Cheers!

Ancient History: Consciousness
A few years ago we designed posters for a charity event called Consciousness. This is the non-communicative poster featuring fluor typography in a clear white space. We also made one with the time and place and stuff, but this one looks much nicer. Image via Jarr Geerligs' Flickr, who has an extensive archive of posters in Amsterdam.

MTV Playground: an Art Show - Part One
An art show by SWATCH & MTV is not about wandering through dull white spaces, not about endless discussions on meaningless paintings. It’s not about drinking cheap chardonnay, not about citing so called art critics. Not about endless debates on post modernism.
MTV Celebrates the future of art.
We did the concept, design and art-direction for the SWATCH MTV playground events. Adding meaning to the word "show" in "art show".
Below you'll find the first photo of the smallest event: a 120cm x 120cm x 220 cm box which fits an interactive screen, 36 par 20 fixtures, a 2000 watt strobo, a big smoke machine and a massive sound system.
More soon.
